The Megaloceros of Lascaux is extinct species of ungulate also known as the “Irish Elk.” The painting in Lascaux is painted with a mixture of charcoal and fat, but this one is made with airbrushed and hand painted acrylic. The plant in the bottom left is a common motif throughout the cave.
