Faunte de Gaume Canid (8x10)

$30.00

Wolves and dogs are very rare to see in cave art, as well as humans. Wonder why? Anyway, this is a possible canid illustration found in Faunte de Gaume Cave in France. This is an early prototype of mine, so it’s not as dense as the others, but still painted nonetheless. The canid is painted with airbrushed and mars black hand painted over top of it. The radiating colors are taken directly from the orignal image in the cave and are made with red ochre and airbrushed black.
